Pirkei Avot Evening
Pirkei Avot Evening
A Judaism That Forms the Capacity to Respond
Saturday, May 16 · 6:00 PM
Downtown Hollywood, Fl.
We live in a time where conclusions come faster than understanding.
Where language is used to explain before it is used to see.
Pirkei Avot—Ethics of the Fathers—is not a book of sayings.
It is a discipline of thinking, judgment, and responsibility.
This evening is not a lecture.
It is a space to slow down thinking, examine how we form conclusions, and recover the capacity to respond to reality with clarity and precision.
We will explore key teachings from Pirkei Avot through guided conversation:
– What does it mean to think before concluding?
– How does language distort reality?
– What does responsibility require in a complex world?
No prior background is needed.
Only the willingness to think.

Book of Ruth — An Evening of Conversation
Thursday, May 21. 7:00 PM
Miami, place to be set based on responses
The Book of Ruth is a story about what we do
when nothing is required of us—
and everything depends on our response.
A guided evening of reading, thinking, and conversation.
